Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church College of Nursing was established in the year 2006 attached to 1100 bedded Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College Hospital. The founders had built this Institution with a great vision, on the attributes of inspiration, motivation, innovation and is dedicated to the task of moulding the young minds and focus on their strength, nurturing and encouraging them and helping them to attain excellence in the field of nursing education and service. M.O.S.C. envisions an education with a social and moral vision – Our vision is to become an outstanding institution in nursing education by preparing nurse leaders who will be recognized globally for integrity, innovation, excellence, leadership and compassionate care.

Our mission is to educate and inspire students to become culturally proficient, intellectually enlightened compassionate healers through interdisciplinary teaching, evidence based practice and value driven learning to advance the health of the global community. Affiliated to the Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur and Kerala Nurses and Midwives’ Council, M.O.S.C, College of Nursing follows the INC syllabus. The curriculum followed at all levels is flexible and enable the new entrants as well as the postgraduate students of nursing to take root in a healthy atmosphere. This helps in keeping pace with the rapidly changing educational scenario. A strong foundation paves way for a beautiful structure. M.O.S.C. College of Nursing is gifted with a faculty par excellence who dedicate so much time and effort to nurture and guide the students in their academic, co-curricular as well as personal life It is a matter of immense gratitude and elation that creativity is being promoted, innovation is being encouraged talent is being unearthed and values are being cultivated at M.O.S.C.
